After their 2024 renaming, Garrett Kuroda, the Team Leader and a Realtor of Lighthouse Realty Group wanted to refresh their brand mark.
He laid out a number of objectives which included: a mark that utilizes the acronym LRG, an iconic lighthouse reference, an alternate mark that they could use for apparel purposes that incorporated custom script, and an emphasis on balance + readability.
After discussion, I thought it was important for the design to reflect Garrett's values when working with clients. This approach was highlighted in the phrase, "casual competency."
I created custom logo type where one mark conveys lifestyle, the other business, but both have inklings of the other baked into the design.
