Jarin is a New York based designer from Honolulu. Jarin's practice is centered around brand design and building highly-customized websites from scratch. He is a Co-Founder and Design Director at Shokuya, a small and passionate team working to make artisanal Japanese food accessible.

He also works with a diverse portfolio of freelance clients both nationally and internationally, whom he often befriends and builds lasting relationships with. He is taking on web and branding projects on a selective basis.

He received his Master of Design (MDes) degree in Graphic Design at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Design and has taught undergraduate courses in graphic design, interaction + web design, and design practice. His paintings, designs, and publications have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, and international art book fairs in Honolulu, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
